Meet Dr. Bryan Hollis

Education and Professional Development

In 1994, Dr. Bryan Hollis graduated as valedictorian from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He completed a full two years of specialty training in orthodontics through the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry Orthodontic Residency Program.

Dr. Hollis was honored to receive the Chancellor’s Award for Most Outstanding Student from LSU School of Dentistry. He was the recipient of numerous other departmental awards based on his academic achievement.

Since completing his residency, Dr. Hollis has constantly sought continuing education opportunities, to expand his knowledge and strengthen his skills. In 2001, he completed the Roth/Williams Center of Functional Occlusion continuing education program. He also attends conferences, lectures, and seminars to stay current on advances in orthodontic techniques and technology.

An esteemed member of the orthodontic community, Dr. Hollis is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society.

As a result of his postgraduate educational pursuits, and after completion of a rigorous testing process, Dr. Hollis became a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is also an active member of the:

  • American Association of Orthodontists
  • Southwestern Society of Orthodontists
  • Louisiana Association of Orthodontists
  • American Dental Association

Beyond the Office

Dr. Hollis and his wife, Celeste Parent Hollis, have four children: Tayl’r, Mackenzie, Addison, and Easton. Time with his family is important to Dr. Hollis. He has enjoyed coaching youth sports for many years and is dedicated to service at his children’s school.

A talented craftsman and artist, Dr. Hollis likes volunteering for his daughters’ musical theater productions, building sets and props, and working backstage.

In the Community

Dr. Hollis believes giving back to the community is essential. He sponsors many youth sports activities, is an avid supporter of the performing arts, and volunteers for various church and school programs. Every year he speaks at local schools about orthodontics, preventive dentistry, dental hygiene, and oral issues associated with drug use.

For many years, Dr. Hollis has also been a sponsor for the Jambalaya Festival Association. In 2007 he sponsored the World Champion, Jeff Parent!

He and his wife have served on the St. George Home and School Association and on the St. George Parish Fair Committee, and as the St. George Parish Fair committee chairs.
